Auctioneer Duncan Gray from Eldred’s Auctions came to our monthly meeting and gave us some interesting background information about this 3rd generation auction house. He spoke about some of the unusual and most valuable items he has seen at auction, one being a folk-art painting that sold for over $400K. Some members brought in their treasures and he was able to tell them about the origins of most of them. Unfortunately, no big surprise $$$ values. It was an enjoyable program for all.
