Supporting our pledge to raise $1M for Cancer Services at Cape Cod Hospital
Thank you to all who purchased tickets to our Spring Cancer Services fundraiser – your support goes towards the Auxiliary’s $1M pledge for Cancer Services at Cape Cod Hospital. Raffle tickets were quite popular as well — we had so many wonderful prizes, including all of the floral arrangements!
Thanks to our members who planned the event, and volunteered at the event, your dedication and enthusiasm is appreciated. And thanks to Kate Formichella – Flower Farmer, Wedding Flower Designer, and Owner of Flora Chella Design; Diane Grieco, Assistant Lead Designer and Flower Farmer; and Kate’s son Mick, who all created gorgeous floral arrangements while answering questions from our enthusiastic guests about soil health, planting, compost, floral foam or no foam (no foam), and more.
Raffle prizes included the beautiful arrangements Kate made, several bags of Kate’s favorite and prized dahlia tubers, gift baskets, and more. Many smaller arrangements were given out as door prizes.
We are also grateful to the management and staff at The Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port for offering such a beautiful room to CCHA Orleans.
It was a day to remember.
