Bake Sale at Cape Cod Hospital
Thank you to our bakers!! The bake sale was a huge success. We had an incredible amount of wonderfully created baked goods donated by our members, the Chatham-Harwich branch, friends of members and some donations from local bakeries. It was hard to believe that we would sell so much, but we did. The few things left were given to Lower Cape Outreach.
The staff and visitors at the hospital were really excited by the variety of sweets we had available. Pies were still the number 1 request and there were plenty of those, but people bought all things sweet. It is a pleasure to see the hospital staff support us in this way and be able to bring homemade baked goods to their Thanksgiving. It was a win/win for all.
A special thank you to our drivers and workers. When people make time on a busy holiday week, it is that much more meaningful.
