The Holly Berry Bazaar (HBB) is the largest fundraiser for our Orleans Branch. It is a one-day biennial event and 2022 marked our 27th HBB. It is held in Orleans at the Nauset Regional Middle School usually the 2nd weekend in November. Planning for this event is a huge undertaking and most members contribute their time and skills during this process. Planning starts more than a year in advance and some committees are busy handcrafting items shortly after HBB is over. Everything at the bazaar is either handcrafted or donated. A big draw for HBB is our Attic Treasures room where you can find a wide variety of treasures from yard sale quality to antiques. Ticket sales for our HBB raffle (4 $500 cash prizes) begins in May of the HBB year and runs through October. Our very dedicated members can be found at many locations in and around Orleans, from Harwich to Provincetown, selling raffle tickets. Several members from the Chatham/Harwich branch also helped by contributing jams, jellies, pickles and baked goods, as well as their time the day of the bazaar. It truly was a phenomenal event.
