CCHA Orleans | Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival Garden Tours

Three beautiful and inspiring gardens and hundreds of visitors. The hydrangeas put on a great show this year and were only one of the many inspiring things about this year’s Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival.

Inspired by Swedish and English cottage gardens where plants and shrubs are planted close to each other. giving it a relaxed, overgrown, romantic cottage look. The owners of this garden have spent 30 years designing, building, and maintaining the garden.

#3 Heaven is a little closer in a cottage by the sea | 13 Linda’s Lane, Orleans
A short walk takes you to the end of the road where plantings along the property’s fence invite you to stop and take a look. Mature Holly bushes, Rose of Sharon, Rhododendron, plus an unusual oak tree are what the owners started with when they bought a small cottage. Around the property you see areas of Hydrangeas, Lilies, Hostas, Roses and Peonies — a wonderful array of Cape Cod plants.
